Alessandro Ferretti - Equilibria

Alessandro graduated from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition in 2001 and formed Equilibria Health Ltd in 2004. With a growing team of Nutritionists and a Medical Doctor, Equilibria Health is now recognized as one of the UK’s leading providers of nutrition education.

Alessandro personally delivers postgraduate seminars & master classes for selected, high quality supplement manufacturers and retail chains. In addition, Equilibria Health Ltd have also instigated an ambitious programme of clinical workshops which has been consistently well received.

In the last two years, Alessandro has developed a mentoring arm to the Equilibria business. Providing support for recent graduates or disillusioned practitioners, Alessandro spends 1:1 time with clients helping them to find direction and success in their chosen career.

Alessandro practices from the Centre for Health and Human Performance (CHHP) at 76 Harley Street, London, and at Tudor Medical Group in Stratford Upon Avon. Over recent years, he has received two nominations for CAM Best Practice Award for clinical excellence.

The Centre for Health & Human Performance is an exclusive multi-disciplinary centre with over 30 specialists taking the client on a holistic journey of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment - using conventional and advanced medical care. At present Alessandro is working alongside the doctors and professors at CHHP researching a group of diseases including obesity. Merging his nutritional findings with those of the medical team, the long term aim is to develop the project into a format that could be presented on a large scale.


Jules Cattwell - Equilibria

Jules has always had a passion for food but it was following a visit to a nutritionist in 1998 that her interest in food as therapy blossomed. Suffering classic stress related problems, the result of 10 years in a challenging executive role, Jules soon learned the power of food and immediately decided to turn nutrition into her new career.

After graduating with distinction from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) in 2001, Jules started in private practice alongside working as Marketing Manager for the highly regarded supplement company, BioCare. She then returned to ION as a tutor and Year Programme Leader, before forming Equilibria Health Ltd in 2004.

Jules is now back in private practice at Tudor Medical Group in Stratford on Avon. She is a Clinical Tutor on the MSc Nutritional Therapy course at the University of Worcester, alongside lecturing, writing for the local and national press and being a full-time Mum to Milo!

With 12 years experience in clinical practice, Jules offers a confident, practical approach to nutrition, tailoring programmes to the client’s needs and lifestyle. She has a particular interest in children’s health issues and having trained at the Autism Research Institute in California she now runs a monthly clinic in London with behavioural optometrist Smita Trivedi (link to )


Dr Chris Dawkins - Equilibria

Dr Chris Dawkins
Chris is Equilibria’s consultant doctor. A general practitioner, Chris takes a very naturopathic approach combining traditional medicine with his nutritional, homeopathic and herbal knowledge. Chris is on hand to advice on a wide range of medical issues and interactions between prescription drugs, nutrients and herbs. Chris currently works in his own private practise and as a general practitioner for the NHS.


Alli Godbold - Equilibria

Alli Godbold
Alli Godbold is a nutritional therapist and has been in practice for 12 years. Alli has a psychology degree and a diploma from London’s well respected Institute of Optimum Nutrition, she is a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists.

Alli frequently gives radio interviews, makes numerous television appearances (Sky News, BBC 24, This Morning, CBBC, ITN news…), and is often quoted in magazines(Zest, Red, Closer, Health and Fitness, She…).

Alli works as a nutritionist for the popular luxury spa holiday company In-Spa, and enjoys travelling to Ibiza, Morrocco and Spain giving nutrition advice to guests. She also works alongside chefs Charles Amos and Alan Wichart at Divertimenti Cookery Schools in Knightsbridge and Marylebone.

Alli enjoys healthy cooking and holds cookery workshops every month from her kitchen in Chiswick. As a nutritional therapist Alli also spends time seeing clients for one-to-one consultations in Chiswick W. London.


Holly Taylor - Equilibria

Holly Taylor
Holly is a qualified nutritional therapist with a BSc in chemistry from the University of Sussex. This combination of scientific and holistic views has forged her unique approach to nutritional health, making her a valued member of the Equilibria team.

Committed to sharing quality nutritional information with the wider community, Holly lectures at the College of Naturopathic Medicine as well as running a successful research and technical writing service.

Holly has been working as Equilibria’s research advisor since 2007 and she now runs Research mentoring days as part of our Practitioner Support & Mentoring service


Sally Martin - Equilibria

Sally Martin
Sally originally trained as a Cordon Bleu chef, and then went on to become Head Chef in top hotel restaurants. She won the Young Chef of the Year, and has since travelled widely.

Later Sally qualified as a Nutritional Therapist and has subsequently become a tutor at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, and set up her own successful nutritional clinic. Sally firmly believes in seasonal, local food as the corner stone to good nutrition.

The unique combination of her proven skills as a chef and her understanding of the science of Nutrition, gives Sally a special perspective on how to eat in both an enjoyable and healthy way.

Sally helps Equilibria in design of new menus and recipes.
